Once a month prepare to get a dose of melodies that will give you duckling bumps as well as titillate and massage your auditory system. This month, while almost over, is dedicated to Voxtrot. Which may or may not be the MOST underrated band ever (according to me that is; you are entitled to your opinion obviously, even if it's wrong). They were formed by Ramesh Srivastava in Austin, TX during the early 2000's and they ended their celestial music making squad in June of 2010. They only released one full album and three EPs. EP, if you didn't know, means Extended Play: a recording of more than one single but not as long as an album. I discovered them four months after their break-up, and unless they have a reunion tour or just come to realize the awesome power they held when united in song, I won't be able to see them in concert. Yet we can still rejoice in what they have left us. So let your ears feast(?) on the sound that is . . . . . . . .. VOXTROT. The songs that follow are two of my favorites, the first being my favorite song ever . . . . .period WARNING: THERE IS NO TURNING BACK. YOU MAY LOSE CONTROL OF YOUR EARS AND HANDS. THE SONGS OF THE A FORE MENTIONED BAND MAY, UNWILLINGLY, BE SET ON REPEAT FOR AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
1) The Start of Something
